Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This explains what we collect when you use this website, what we do with it, and how you stop it.

The short version

HomeSick is a lead generation service, and we share and sell the information you give us. When you complete the form on this site we pass your details — name, phone number, email and property address — to an independent cash home buyer who pays us for them. That is how the service stays free to you.

That buyer will call, text or email you, including with automated systems, at the number you give us. You can stop it at any time — see Your privacy choices.

We do not buy houses, and we are not real estate agents or brokers.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Birdseye Sourcing, trading as HomeSick Property Solutions (“HomeSick”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers homesickpropertysolutions.com, every landing page, form and quiz we run, and the calls, texts and emails we send in connection with them.

By using this site or submitting your information you agree to this policy and to our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and mailing address.
  • Property details — the property address, its condition, who lives in it, whether there is a mortgage or lien, how soon you want to sell, why you are selling, and any price you have in mind.
  • Technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and how you moved through our forms.
  • Advertising information — which ad or campaign brought you here, and the click identifiers that come with it.
  • Consent records — the exact wording you agreed to, the date, time and IP address of your submission, and the page you submitted it from. We keep this as proof that you asked to be contacted.
  • Call and message records — what you say to us by phone, text or email. Calls may be recorded for quality and compliance where the law allows.

Please do not send us sensitive information. We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver's licence number, bank or card details, or any health information. If you send it anyway, we will delete it.

3. How we collect it

  • Directly from you, when you fill in a form or call, text or email us.
  • Automatically, through cookies, pixels and server logs when you visit the site.
  • From advertising platforms such as Meta, Google and TikTok, when you arrive by clicking one of our ads.
  • From service providers who check that a phone number, email address or property address is valid before we pass it on.

4. How we use it

  • To pass your enquiry to a buyer who operates in your area — our main purpose.
  • To contact you ourselves about your enquiry and about related services.
  • To check your details are valid and to remove duplicate or fake submissions.
  • To measure which ads work, and to improve the site.
  • To keep records proving you consented to be contacted, and to defend ourselves and our buyers if that is ever questioned.
  • To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests from courts and regulators.

5. Who we share and sell it to

We share and sell your information to:

  • Cash home buyers, real estate investors, wholesalers, iBuyers, agents and brokers, and the call centres and marketing firms working for them. We sell each enquiry to one buyer, so you should expect to be contacted by one company about your property, not several.
  • Related service providers who may market to you — for example title companies, moving companies or home services firms.
  • Our own suppliers — website hosting, CRM, phone and text messaging, email delivery, analytics and data validation. These companies may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms, as described in section 7.
  • Courts, regulators and law enforcement where the law requires it, and a buyer of our business if we ever sell it.

Buyers are independent companies. Once your details reach them, how they use and keep your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours, and they may pass it on further. If you want a buyer to stop contacting you, tell them directly — or ask us and we will tell you which buyer received your details.

6. Calls, texts and emails

When you submit a form on this site you give your express written consent to be contacted by HomeSick and by the buyer and partners we pass your details to. That contact may be by phone call, text message or email; it may be made using automated dialling systems or prerecorded voices; it may go to a mobile number; and it may happen even if your number is on a Do Not Call list.

Consent is not a condition of anything. You do not have to agree in order to get an offer on your property — you can simply call or email us instead. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

How to stop it: reply STOP to any text, click unsubscribe in any email, tell a caller to put you on their do-not-call list, or contact us using section 11. We act on requests we receive immediately, and in any event within ten business days. Stopping our messages does not automatically stop a buyer who already has your details — you may need to tell them as well.

Reply HELP to any text for assistance.

7. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies, pixels and similar tools to run the site, remember your progress through a form, and measure our advertising. These include tools from Meta, Google and similar platforms. This can involve sending a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address or phone number to an ad platform so it can match your enquiry to the ad you clicked.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working. You can opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal if your browser sends one. We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no agreed standard for them.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry and contact details for as long as we need them and then delete them. We keep consent records for longer — normally five years — because we may need them to show that you asked to be contacted. We keep opt-out records permanently, because that is the only way to be sure we honour your opt-out. Anything already passed to a buyer is kept by that buyer under their own policy.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No website is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, so you submit information at your own risk. If a breach ever affects your information we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • Know what information we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
  • Get a copy of it;
  • Correct anything inaccurate;
  • Delete it, unless we are required to keep it;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, including for targeted advertising; and
  • Appeal if we turn a request down.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. The only practical consequence of opting out of the sale of your information is that we can no longer pass it to a buyer, so you will not receive an offer through us.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To stop us selling or sharing your information, email [email protected] with “Do Not Sell” in the subject line, or call +1 (361) 310-9588. Include the phone number, email address or property address you originally gave us, so we can find your record.

You can also turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out for that browser.

An opt-out stops us from the moment we process it. It cannot pull back information already sent to a buyer — for that, contact the buyer, and ask us if you need to know who they are.

California residents may also ask once a year for a list of the third parties we gave their information to for direct marketing purposes (the “Shine the Light” law). Nevada residents may direct us not to sell their covered information. Use the same contact details.

11. Making a request

Email [email protected] or call +1 (361) 310-9588. We will ask you for enough information to match you to our records — usually the phone number or property address you gave us — and nothing more sensitive than that. We respond within 45 days, and act on opt-outs within 15 business days. There is no charge. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for your written permission.

If we turn a request down you can appeal by emailing us with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will reply within 45 days with our decision and our reasons, and if we still say no we will tell you how to complain to your state Attorney General.

12. Children

This site is for adults aged 18 or over who own property or have authority to sell it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

13. Other websites

This site links to websites we do not run, and the buyers who receive your details have their own websites and policies. We are not responsible for them. Read their policies before giving them information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do we will change the date at the top, and if the change is significant we will say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

15. Contact us

A postal address for written requests is available on request by email.
